PAT DWYER, RLA, ASLA, Landscape Architect

With over 36 years experience in residential and commercial design build, Landscape Architect Pat Dwyer practices his passion of creating exterior environments on a daily basis. His commitment to detail and an exceptional quality product are both highly regarded in the community. Specializing in unsurpassed client service, Dwyer DesignScapes was established in 1994 by Mr. Dwyer and continues to be one of the finest Landscape Architecture Design Build Firm’s in Louisville.

Pat received his degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Kentucky. While pursuing his degree, he had the opportunity to study architecture in Italy. The influence continues to be evident in his work, creating outdoor spaces that flow together in form and function. After working for a local Landscape Architecture Design Build Firm in Louisville for 18 years, Pat decided to start his own business (Dwyer Landscaping, Inc.). Later, he changed the name to Dwyer DesignScapes to more accurately reflect the services offered by the firm. Dwyer DesignScapes has continued to grow with many of his clients having followed him through the years, time and time again seeking his knowledge and experience in the field of Landscape Architecture, not to mention his down to earth manner combined with his professionalism.

Mr. Dwyer is a member of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), the Kentucky Chapter of Landscape Architects (KSLA), and a longtime member of PLANET (Proffessional Landcare Network). He is a University of Kentucky Fellow and a Paul Harris Fellow. Pat received the University of Kentucky Distinguished Alumni Award for the Louisville Area in 2004. He generously contributes regularly to The American Cancer Society, Habitat for Humanity House, St. Francis of  Assisi and West End School. He is a Vietnam War Veteran and lives in Louisville with his wife Janet, and three wonderful children.
